This Months Featured Artist :

Lucio Freaking Parrilo! I've always enjoyed his covers, but what was fire seems like liquid Hot magma recently! Carla Cohen gets it - hes kind of a big deal!

"He just keeps melting faces with these damn covers!" - Commissioner Gordon

What AI thinks : Parrillo's work on Red Sonja and Vampirella is the stuff of legend. His signature style combines painterly finesse with a photographer's eye for composition. Every cover is a masterclass in dynamic poses, rich color palettes, and lighting that makes you wonder if he's secretly a cinematographer. The man doesn't just illustrate characters; he creates moments. Cinematic, breathtaking moments.

What makes Parrillo's variants so collectible? It's simple: they're gallery-quality pieces that happen to feature your favorite characters. Fantasy, horror, adventure—whatever the genre, his covers elevate the entire book. Collectors hunt these down like treasure, and honestly, we get it. One look at a Parrillo cover and you understand why.

Panel Archive Dirty 30!

Panel Archive Award Winners!

Our personal favorites. For no reason other than our own. These three amazed!

  • Cover - Mark Brooks

Mark Brooks is a personal favorite of mine, so I'm a little biased. The Venus flytrap head, the dragonfly arm, and of course....the owl - there's a lot going on in this cover, and it's all wicked bitchen!

  • Artist - Dan Quintana

Last year’s Panel Archive “Cover of the Year” winner, Dan Quintana, is blowing up. His Absolute Batman print just sold (March 2026) for $100,000. Hate to say "told you so," but....we told you so! This dude is nuclear hot!

  • Nectar

Nectar is dark, heavy, and surprisingly quiet. After issue one I still couldn’t explain the story beyond blood-thirsty butterflies in an early Massachusetts town with a strong sex drive (that 18+ cover and rating earn their keep). Maybe that strange mystery is exactly what makes it so compelling.

  • Cover - Dan Quintana

Dan Released this foil cover at SDCC and it blew my mind. I got lucky and stumbled across Heavy Mental's store and found that his exclusive Big Rig #2 was a white virgin. Which I consider to be the Best cover of the Year.

  • Artist - Ivan Talavera

Caught my attention with a Vampirella cover in 2024 and has kept it since. Every cover is filthy rad with this dude! Don't Believe me? Check it here....

  • Story - Absolute Batman

What happens when Batman is built from grit instead of wealth? Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta deliver a visceral, street-level take that feels both radically fresh and deeply true to the character's core. This story is wild, brutal, and "Absolute-ly" rips!

  • Cover - Andrew Curry

This cover man! Talk about love at first sight! This cover may go down as one of my all time favorites. Andrew is known for a gold Gilding process that he does for some of his most coveted covers. It's like a form of gold leafing. I applaud you if youre lucky enough to own one.

  • Artist - Dan Panosian

This Dude is so good and so damn prolific! Hes on catwoman one moment, over to Red Sonja the next and then dropped this Iron man cover in December! I am constantly falling in love with new Dan Panosian covers. His signature is also one of my favorites. Want more Panosian? Check it here....

  • Story - Ultimate Spiderman

If you are like me, you grew up in the 80'-90's and fell in love with Spiderman and Todd McFarlane. We grew up and Spiderman changed. This story goes back to "our" Spiderman, and he's our age now too. Disney got something right, finally.
