BEN OLIVER

Ben Oliver’s been on a tear lately—between his run ofG.I. Joe covers and that absolutely ridiculous Ivy, the guy’s not missing. That Ivy cover was my Megacon must-grab… and no, you can’t have my Absolute Batman #18. It’s too damn pretty.

“It’s getting hot again… new Oliver cover must’ve dropped.” — Ororo Munroe

What AI thinks : Ben Oliver doesn’t draw comics—he renders them. Hyper-detailed, almost uncomfortable in how real it feels, his work lives somewhere between fine art and surveillance footage. Every line is deliberate, every shadow earned. You’re not just looking at a cover—you’re staring it down.

  • Cover - Mark Brooks

Mark Brooks is a personal favorite of mine, so I'm a little biased. The Venus flytrap head, the dragonfly arm, and of course....the owl - there's a lot going on in this cover, and it's all wicked bitchen!

    Mark Brooks
  • Artist - Dan Quintana

Last year’s Panel Archive “Cover of the Year” winner, Dan Quintana, is blowing up. His Absolute Batman print just sold (March 2026) for $100,000. Hate to say "told you so," but....we told you so! This dude is nuclear hot!

    Dan Quintana
  • Story - Ordained

Imagine John Wick as a catholic priest and you have Ordained. Its as good as it sounds and better. The Machine only adds to this brilliant series destined for film.

  • Cover - Dan Quintana

Dan Released this foil cover at SDCC, and it blew my mind. I got lucky stumbling across Heavy Mental's store and found his exclusive of Post Malone's Big Rig #2 - a white virgin. Which I consider to be the Best cover of the Year. This Cover is a win for the guys who argue against foils.

  • Artist - Ivan Talavera

Caught my attention with a Vampirella cover in 2024 and has kept it since. Every cover is filthy rad with this dude! Don't Believe me? Check it here....

    Ivan Talavera
  • Story - Absolute Batman

What happens when Batman is built from grit instead of wealth? Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta deliver a visceral, street-level take that feels both radically fresh and deeply true to the character's core. This story is wild, brutal, and "Absolute-ly" rips!

    Absolute Batman
  • Cover - Andrew Curry

This cover man! Talk about love at first sight! This cover may go down as one of my all time favorites. Andrew is known for a gold Gilding process that he does for some of his most coveted covers. It's like a form of gold leafing. I applaud you, if you're lucky enough to own one.

  • Artist - Dan Panosian

This Dude is so good and so damn prolific! Hes on catwoman one moment, over to Red Sonja the next and then dropped this Iron man cover in December! I am constantly falling in love with new Dan Panosian covers. His signature is also one of my favorites. Want more Panosian? Check it here....

  • Story - Ultimate Spiderman

If you’re like me, you grew up on Spider-Man and McFarlane. Then we grew up… and Spider-Man changed. It felt like we lost our guy, until now. Peter’s a dad, he’s got a family, and it just feels right. This is our Spider-Man again—and yeah, Disney finally got one right!
